Exploring Concepts of Spiritual Import

Soul Talkers - its time to write my last blog. My suitcase is packed, my refridgerator switched off, my central heating system drained, leaving parties attended, and just one last goodbye left to be said.

The 'deen will be absent of one drug dealing food fanatical Soul Talker, for she is venturing off to pastures new. Yes Soul Talkers, I'm off to Swaziland. How long for? I'm not too sure. I guess that will be determined by work, love, sense of fulfillment and patience. I'm very much looking forward to my adventure, I just hope I will be able to try my very best in whatever challenges that lay ahead.

Its been great conversing with you all these past 18 months. I'll try and check the site from time to time - so keep those spiritual conversations flowing....

"While unwavering action is necessary, wisdom and tact and patience must, of course, be exercised. Let it be understood, too, that Africans are not alone in the struggle to change certain age-old practices. People everywhere have customs which must be abandoned so as to clear the path along which their societies must evolve towards that glorious, new civilization which is to be the fruit of Bahá'u'lláh's stupendous Revelation. Indeed, in no society on earth can there be found practices which adequately mirror the standards of His Cause. His own truth-bearing Words clarify the matter: "The summons and the message which We gave were never intended to reach or to benefit one land or one people only. Mankind in its entirety must firmly adhere to whatsoever hath been revealed and vouchsafed unto it. Then and only then will it attain unto true liberty. The whole earth is illuminated with the resplendent glory of God's Revelation."
- Universal House of Justice 1998.

The last time I saw you - at February's Cluster meeting, when the IPG was launched - I said "You go, girl!" but I didn't mean it literally! Still, you are always so energetic, I always wondered how you managed to stay in Aberdeen so long; I knew it was only a matter of time. I wish you all the best and will keep you in my prayers.
