I do not know what zone I'm in. what I do know is that I am in the headspace of writing an analysis and critique and proposal for half a million dollars for a project at work. That is really where my head is that right now. Possibly, I should be using twitter!

That sounds very Oprah-ish. yesterday we were listening to the first installment of her live Internet activity . I am constantly amazed at how shallow the water sometimes can be. If the water is really shallow, you don't need to go very deep to get to the bottom. oh - well...

You are too kind. You can even use it on your cell phone! If you find you're not getting enough information from people, this may be another way to go. Basically, the way I would describe it, is a way of informing people on a relatively regular basis which you were doing/thinking/contemplating /whatever at any particular moment in time. In other words, when we were sitting on the beach lighting the fire, I could have used my blackberry to send a note to anyone who was "following" me and let them know that I was sitting on the beach with you lighting a fire! Some people might find that extremely relevant! Others might find it curious! Others might wanted to have come and joined us!

Twitter is a free social networking and micro-blogging service that allows users to send "updates" (or "tweets"; text-based posts, up to 140 characters long) to the Twitter website, via short message service (e.g. on a cell phone), instant messaging, or a third-party application such as Twitterrific or Facebook.

Updates are displayed on the user's profile page and instantly delivered to other users who have signed up to receive them. The sender can restrict delivery to those in his or her circle of friends (delivery to everyone is the default). Users can receive updates via the Twitter website, instant messaging, SMS, RSS, email or through an application. For SMS, four gateway numbers are currently available: short codes for the USA, Canada, and India, as well as a UK number for international use.
